Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Accreditation: American Heart Association
General information: This course is for Healthcare Professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This course covers Adult/Child/Infant CPR, two-rescuer scenarios, use of the bag-valve mask (BVM), foreign-body airway obstruction, automated external defibrillation (AED), special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Class length: 3 Hours.
Students Receive: American Heart Association certification card (valid for 2 years) & includes the required AHA BLS Provider Manual
Audience: Individuals (during school and after school) such as EMTs, PAs, Nurses, Dentists, Physicians, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Lifeguards, Paramedics, PTs, OTs, and other allied healthcare providers are likely required to be certified in BLS.
Format: Fully in-person or blended where students take first part online then second part in person.
Lay-Rescuer CPR/AED
Accreditation: American Heart Association or Health & Safety Institute
General Course Information: The CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age – adults and pediatric. The course is also designed to help non-medical professionals provide assistance in times of crisis and allow you to understand first aid best practices for a wide range of conditions.
Students Receive: Digital student Manual and an certification card (valid for 2 years).
Audience: Teachers, Coaches, Fitness pros, Daycare providers, Parents, Camp counselors, Construction, Daycare and Nursery Schools, and other caring citizens.
Format: Fully in-person, or blended where students take first part online then second part in person, or fully remote where we ship the equipment to the student and do a live video call.
First Aid
Accreditation: American Heart Association or Health & Safety Institute
General information: This is a basic first aid course which can be combined with Heartsaver CPR/AED. This course covers common medical and trauma emergencies as well as environmental emergencies such as frostbite and heat. Length of class is approximately 3.5 Hours.
Students Receive: A digital H First Aid Manual and a certification card (valid for 2 years).
Audience: Teachers, Coaches, Fitness pros, Daycare providers, Parents, Camp counselors, Construction, Daycare and Nursery Schools, and other caring citizens.
Format: Fully in-person, or blended where students take first part online then second part in person, or fully remote where we ship the equipment to the student and do a live video call.
Advanced First Aid
Accreditation: Health & Safety Institute
General information: The ASHI Advanced First Aid course is designed for the person who needs or desires more first aid training than Basic First Aid, but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response. Perfect and required for NYS summer camps.
Students Receive: HSI certification card (valid for 2 years) & includes the required AHA BLS Provider Manual
